Universitas Sanata Dharma and Bakti Utama Foundation started a collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday (13/2). Attended by Johanes Eka Priyatma, M.Sc., Ph.D. as the Rector of USD; FX. Ouda Teda Ena, M.Pd., Ed.D. as the Vice Rector for Collaboration and Alumni Affairs of USD; Sr. Elisabet Sri Widayanti, ADM. as the Head of Seraphine Bakti Utama Foundation; and Sr. Clarita, ADM. as the Treasurer of Seraphine Bakti Utama Foundation. The signing event for the MoU was held in the Rectorat Meeting Room, Campus 2 USD.
Located in Purworejo, Central Java, Seraphine Bakti Utama Foundation is an educational foundation which manages Pius Bakti schools and Seraphine Bakti Utama schools. Collaboration which was built between USD and Seraphine Bakti Utama is hoped to improve human resources from both parties through various agendas such as: employments, social services and spiritual, and also research activities.
The start of this collaboration also helps USD and Serpahine Bakti Utama Foundation in realizing both parties’ shared dream of developing and improving the quality of education through the dedication and service to community as part of the inseparable work by the Catholic Church.
