TOR (TERM OF REFERENCE)

I. QUALITY MANAGEMENT AND PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

This workshop will demonstrate how Quality Management and Process Improvement can be integrated into your management practices through the selection and use of available standards, models, frameworks and methodologies, and allow participants to formulate a strategy for implementing Quality Management and Process Improvements within their organization.
The objectives of the Quality Management and Process Improvement workshop are:
  1. To understand basic concepts and definitions related to Quality Management and Process Improvement;
  2. To understand the strategic directions for Quality Management and Process Improvement in your organization;
  3. To identify the issues and challenges of implementing Quality Management and Process Improvement;
  4. To equip participants with the awareness necessary to participate in Quality Management and/or Process Improvement projects;
  5. To provide an opportunity to explore in greater detail the issues and ideas raised in the Workshop
This course will benefit:
  1. Management or staff or MM USD students or participants who want to develop a quality Management System and/or Process Improvement strategy for their organization;
  2. Management or staff or MM USD students or participants who want a practical introduction to Quality Management and Process Improvement;
  3. Management and staff or MM USD students or participants who will be engaged in a quality management system and/or process improvement implementation project
 
Effective marketing starts with a considered, well-informed marketing strategy. A good marketing strategy helps you define your vision, mission and business goals, and outlines the steps you need to take to achieve these goals. Your marketing strategy affects the way you run your entire business, so it should be planned and developed in consultation with your team. It is a wide-reaching and comprehensive strategic planning tool that:
  • describes your business and its products and services
  • explains the position and role of your products and services in the market
  • profiles your customers and your competition
  • identifies the marketing tactics you will use
  • allows you to build a marketing plan and measure its effectiveness.
A marketing strategy sets the overall direction and goals for your marketing, and is therefore different from a marketing plan, which outlines the specific actions you will take to implement your marketing strategy. Your marketing strategy could be developed for the next few years, while your marketing plan usually describes tactics to be achieved in the current year.
